Media Hub

Media Hub is a course for which students are selected from various concentrations in the Hussman School to find, produce, and market stories with state, regional, and at times, national appeal. Entrance into this class is by invitation. As a broadcaster, I researched topics, conducted interviews, filmed b-roll and stand-ups, wrote scripts, and edited videos.

Sports Xtra

Sports Xtra is a course offered through the UNC Hussman School of Journalism and Media. In this course, students learn the ins and outs of producing a show for television. This Emmy-award winning segment specifically focuses on sports broadcasting. While reporting for the show, I covered a wide range of athletics, from soccer to volleyball to field hockey and more.

Wedding Videography

I had the pleasure of capturing Rachel and Elijah's big day! It's been an absolute delight to reconnect with my passion for storytelling through the lens of a camera. While it's slightly different from my usual projects, it was an incredibly fun challenge and a refreshing opportunity to flex those creative muscles once again.

What a joy to witness two people so truly in love! I broke out the camera again to tell the love story of Nia and Bradley in my second attempt at wedding videography. It was such a fun experience and really pushed my creative skills and storytelling abilities.

The 1893 Brand Studio often works very closely with the Daily Tar Heel, operating in many ways as the public relations branch of the organization. For the Daily Tar Heel’s 127th birthday, I was asked to create a video highlighting the work of this year’s distinguished alumna, Rochelle Riley.

Travel Videography

One of my favorite things to do is travel. Everywhere I go, I am constantly taking pictures and videos to preserve the memories. I love creating these videos to share my experiences with my friends and family back home. Check out a few of my favorite travel videos below!
